Note card boxes

These hold 4 note cards and envelopes.  Each one uses 1 sheet of Designer paper-- with no waste

My friend Linda brought one over to show me and I went to town making 10 for my oldest sons teachers.  He loves to give gifts almost as much as i do.

I have some basic specs, but not detailed.  Its a cased project too, but I don't know the original artist.

DSP 7.5 x 12 score at 1-7/8 down each long side.

turn and score at 5-5/8 then at 6 7/8

fold the short score line up to the long score line to make the box.  you can see how to do the fold HERE on a smaller scale (love this project too)

the left over DSP- cut to 2.25 x 5 and 3.5 x 4.5.  use this to decorate your note cards!  FUN!

Quick picture shot with my phone was the best I could do in crunch time!!!

Emergency birthday card kit & Etsy

I took Part of April's Birthday card kit and converted it into Emergency Birthday card kit. The 8 cards fit into the gift bag and make a great gift.

There are a few of these finished kits available in My brand new Etsy store.  I will be adding some projects seen here on my blog,  some of my classes and some kits exclusive to my Etsy store.  All projects will be completed.
I also added a link to my sidebar so you can shop anytime!

To see how I made these cards, check out my VERY 1st and VERY amateur video tutorial. Don't mind my sarcasm (if you can catch it) and don't mind the reversed images. I shot this 1st one from my laptop! I am not sure video is my cup of tea.....maybe with some practice! and a video camera would probably help. (I know I am my own WORST critic) Enjoy!

Carousel Note Tote & Card set

This is one of my favorite note card sets!!! There are 6 cards with matching stamped envelopes in the Note tote. The picture does not do it justice!!! The Carousel Note Tote tutorial can be found HERE on "Stamp a Little Love Baby" by Cambria Turnbow.

The cards are 3.5x5 (Stampin' Up! Small note card size). The card design is pretty much all punches! The squares were made with punches: the 1/14 and 1/3/8 inch sizes. The 1 3/8 inch circle punch and the scallop punch for the center. SOOOOOO easy and fun! All supplies are Stampin' Up! unless noted

Monogrammed Note cards

Simple and Elegant. I love these cards!! I made them for my friend Diane and they were a perfect excuse to try my new Monogram stamps. While blog surfing I saw these great cards at Sharon's blog No Time To Stamp. They are a Do It Yourself Monogram stamp from JustRite.
I also saw these stamps at Debbie Olsen's blog Thinking Inking and Taylor's amazing stationary on her Blog Taylored Expressions
The stamps come with black ink, but you can purchase pads to ink in colors of your choice. I have decided to take the challenge and use them with black for a while. Lots of colors go with black, right?
EDITED TO ADD: the monogram stamps can be purchased from the

Monogram stamper from JustRite
Paper: Basic Black, Very Vanilla card stock
Ink: black
Accessories: Black ribbon, coluzzle for cutting the monogram into a circle, ticket corner punch, cuttle bug swiss dots, Very Vanilla Stampin' Up! Envelopes.
