We are off to Disney this week for the Stampin' Up! Incentive trip.  Pups are on vacation too at the farm!  Its going to be FUN!!!  I hope to post a few updates while I am away.  These trips are SO worth all the hard work it takes to earn them!!!

Mouthwatering

As this Occasions mini comes to an end I have a few sets I just did not get to use as much as I wanted.  Its Mouthwatering, You send me Soaring and Bordering on Romance.  I am hoping 1 makes it to the new catalog!

So here is a sample:

I stamped each watermelon slice in Lucky Limeade and Melon Mambo.  then cut them and adhered them together.  I was not loving the smeary look I was getting when I used my markers.  

Seeds are colored with the Early Espresso marker.

Paper: whisper white, Melon Mambo
Ink: Lucky Limeade, melon Mambo
Accessories: Old Olive 1/4 inch grosgrain ribbon

7-3/8 x 3-1/4

score at 3-1/8, 3-1/2, 3-7/8

fold and snip into score lines to make pocket for the pen

Larger section on the bottom

adhere with sticky strip to hold the pen (see picture)

Emma's Party

I had the honor of hosting the crafts at Emma's Birthday party a few weeks ago.  SO MUCH FUN.  and such great stampers!  Thanks you Emma for asking me!

The girls made an Owl Pillow box, a Petite purse and a Backpack scrapbook

Here is the inside of the Backpack.  Lots of Hot air Balloons sprinkled though out.  the inside pages has various designs of the Eat cake DSP.

I found a backpack scrapbook tutorial here.  But it was too small.  So I adjusted the measurements.  

Back pack base: 4.25 x 11.  Score at 4.5, 5.5 and 6.5, fold accordion style

inside pages: 4 x 11.  score at 4.5, 5.5 and 6.5, then trim 1/8 of an inch from each end.  

Flap:  4 x 4.25, score at 1-7/8 and 2-1/8

A shameless scraplift

I totally cased this.  Erica just makes the best pages!  I swear I could copy every page she makes!  Its no wonder why she was an Artisan Award finalist!  I made my page to document the building the of our pool.  Oh my! my kids have really grown!  I purchased the I Dig You stamp set just to make this page.  I will for sure have to use it a bit more since its NOT on the retiring list!

As a Mom to boys who loved construction- I am just itching to find some of those pictures!
