Easter Treat with Everybunny

I bought those Yummy multi packs of Lindt chocolate bunnies, chicks and sheeP at BJ's.  Man are they cute!!!  So I had to make them a super cute Box!

Box is a smaller version of the cookie box, seen here.  (sorry I forgot to write down the specs)

Edgelit Cards & Tote: Free Tutorial

TIP:  Edgelits work best with a set of Brand new cutting plates.  if your cutting plates are warped form lots of use, perfect positioning will be harder.

To make the Wrap:  8.5 x 5.5 -two pieces.  Score one short side at 1 inch then turn and trim the other edge with the edge lit.  repeat on 2nd piece.  adhere the 2 piece together by overlapping the scored sections.  

BOX:  

Option 1: 6 x 12 piece of card stock.  With the short side at the top of your scoring tool, score at 1", turn and score at 1", 5.5, 6.5, 11

Option 2:  two pieces of 6 x 6.75 card stock.  with the short side at the top of your scoring tool, score at 1", turn and score at 1 and 5.75, repeat on 2nd piece and fit the 2 pieces together to form the box.

Paper: Baja Breeze, Basic gray, Twitterpated DSP, cherry cobbler

Ink: Black

Accessories:  Labels collection Framelits, Edgelits, Organza Ribbon, markers for coloring in Baja, Pear pizzaz and Blushing Bride, pleated Satin ribbon in pear pizzaz, blushing bride, riding hood red and baja breeze.

JUNIOR OLYMPICS:

Last weekend was  the Junior Olympics for my son.  How did it go you ask?  Well, Junior olympics went as well as could be expected with a 3" hole in his elbow and bronchitis.  That was 2 Trips to Urgent care in 1 week, all the week of the meet.  He fell on the playground the day before the meet.  So fun to get the call from the school nurse-- thankfully no broken bones or stitches. REALLY!!!

He had 2 OK times and 2 lifetime best times. WOOHOOOO!!! He did NOT come in last, and no where near the top 10.  He has a way to go and the best part of his weekend was the personalized sweatshirt with his name and events he qualified for !  LOL it cost me $75.  yes $75 for a Stinkin' sweatshirt.  Hey ours was cheap though, some of the other kids on the team were over $100 as they qualified in more events!  He liked it, but he said is was really crowded.  He is excited to qualify for the summer Junior Olympics! (thank goodness its AFTER Convention, wink!).

The only day I got  a few pictures was when he swam his 400IM (4 laps of each stroke for you non-swimmers out there!)

More Cookies

I recently had a Stamping club complete! A big thanks to all the ladies for all of their business, and all of my clubs!

Here is the little surprise I gave them as a token of my appreciation:

to make the box:  cut your card stock 5.25 x 8

with the 5.25 side at the top of the scoring tool score at 1" and 4.25"

turn and score at 4.25 and 5.25

snip the short score lines to form the box.  the wild wasabi wrap is 1.25 x 11
