an Easter Basket

Made with the Two Tags die for the big shot.  So cute!

you need 2 old olive tags cut from the die

handle: 6.5 x .75

middle section to create the box: 2 3⁄4” x 6 3⁄4” 

Score at 1⁄2” from the long sides and 2” from each short side. 

Cut on the small folds in the center from the edge to the 1⁄2” score line. 

Stamps: A good Egg
Paper: old olive, daffodil delight, pretty in pink dsp, pear pizzaz prints pack dsp (egg shell)
Ink: black
Accessories: ribbon, two tags die for the big shot, word window punch

A Chick box

I made a version of this box quite a few years ago at a team event.  I saved it and just re-made it smaller.  Its still a favorite here.  I made 4 of these for Teachers!

SPECS: 

  Box base  5.5 x 8.5

with the 8.5 side at the top of the scoring tool, score at 3.5 and 5

turn and score at 1" from each side

fold on all your score lines, snip short score lines, fold and form box.

handle is .75 x 8.5

small oval, 5 petal flower, and trio punch pack.

Fray the 5/8 in daffodil ribbon.  

Paper:  Daffodil delight, pumpkin pie
Accessories:  white gel pen

the Carrot Box

In honor of Easter week- I will be sharing some fun ways to package Treats!  YUM!

Sneak Peek Postage stamp punch!  layers perfectly with the 1-3/8 square punch.  I just have to mention that my oldest son asked for 13 of these carrot boxes to give to his teachers!!!

Double Embossing FREE Tutorial

Did you see this card and wondered how I did it? 

  Get your Big Shot out and lets get Started!

I used the Perfect Polka Dot  and Framed Tulips embossing folders.  I added a little more embossing to create a wedding card at the end of this post.  

You will need 2 Pieces of chipboard.  1 x 4 and 2 x 4.  I used the white cardboard from the back of the Stampin Up! designer paper and just glued 2 of the same size pieces together

Close your Multipurpose platform

Put your paper into your embossing folder and place it on top of the closed platform.  this is the perfect polka dot folder.  

Place your chipboard on top of the embossing folder.  I used 2 x4

add ONE cutting plate and crank it through your Big Shot

It should look like this, only embossed where the chipboard was:

Now line the perfect polka dot section up with Framed Tulip embossing folder.  Be careful to make it straight

add your 1 x4 chipboard , then ONE cutting plate and crank through your Big Shot

It should look like this:

Now flip it to create a second line of embossed Tulips.  pay close attention to line the tulips up with your already embossed ones

add your 1 x4 chipboard , then ONE cutting plate and crank through your Big Shot

it should look like this: 

now repeat on the other side:  

you should have a piece of card stock that looks like this:  

I created a wedding card with mine.  It was so beautiful I went with white on white with pearls

Paper: whisper white
Ink: sahara sand
Accessories:  Framed tulips, perfect polka dot embossing folder, modern label and punch pack, lots of pearls!
