MDS meets swimming

Cupcakes make clouds!

Another case from a Scraptrends magazine.  Just love this picture of my daughter and oh my how she has grown!  LOVE how the cupcake icing makes clouds!!

Snowman Scrap page

a wonderful case from a recent Creating Keepsakes magazine!  I just love this page.  the snowman was a hand made template and my scrapbook club girls traced it to make theirs.  white is slightly sponged with crumb cake ink.  Lots of big shot dies in this project!  I was able to put pictures on this page in minutes.

When you are in the 5th grade Valentines are not really cool.  Actually, that started in the 4th grade!
this is what my son brought to his teachers:

Tis the season for Treats!

And this Valentines was no exception!  My daughter designed and made hers.  All I did was cut the paper! woohooo!  she loves to stamp!!

she made 30 treats all together!  her stamp set of choice was Valentine Defined.

For the Boys:  

For the Girls:  (she markered all the trees!)

Side view:  there was a small cello bag filled with hershey kisses.  it was stapled to the cardstock

back view (notice her own personalized stamp!)

pouch is 3.5 x 10.5 scored at 5 and 5.5

We made 2 cute purses for her BFFs not in her class

Actually I made them early in the morning as Lexy got to the treat bag and ate the first 2 purses

And for her teacher and student teacher.  these were filled with hershey kisses

And of course the poochies got a treat:  

(each poodle got one, it was so funny to see them so excited!)

Easy Treat Box!

PAPER IS 5x 7 

with the long edge at the top of the scoring tool, score at 3" and 4"

turn, with the shorter edge at the top of your scoring tool score at 1" and 4"

fold on all score lines, snip the short score lines in the middle and fold to form box  

Embellish and fill with treats.  this is the medium cello bag

A Birthday, a card and more

This card is totally cased from another Demo named Kay.  I saw these awesome Bugs late in the evening in my google reader and stayed up to case them.  This card I gave my son yesterday for His 11th Birthday

It just cracks me up!

He loved it, (I think)

Lots of circles and Oval punches!  sooooo stinkin' cute  Thanks Kay!

And My son Qualified for Junior Olympics in the 100 IM on His birthday!  He will not be able to attend since he is now 11, but he made his goal.  so exciting!
