Quilted Ornament and a video!

A secret sister gift a leadership was one of these cool Quilted ornaments.  I LOVE THESE.  

Here is my 1st attempt at making one.  OMG so easy!!

Now here is the one my daughter made:  

Now my daughter is 8-- so YES!!! You can do this. the only thing I helped her with was the ironing the fabric and hot glueing the ribbon on at the end.   I cut my fabric squares to 3x3.  Here is the video to show you how to make this fun project.  Stay tuned for a GREAT box to put these ornaments in!!!

Whats a GREAT day!

I took a little time for me today.  I put pictures on 12 scrapbook pages.  YES 12 !!  I am so happy!  I got a few general pictures/pages and some birthdays.  It's fun to go digging back into a few pictures to see how much my kids have grown and changed!

How about a Snowman treat holder???

Do you save your empty Stampin' Up! embellishment containers.  I do!

these are so fasT  2.5 circle, 1.75 circle and 1" circle punches, dimensionals and ribbon!  the arms are from the snowflake punch and the nose is from the star punch.  It holds 2 small pieces of candy they need to be flatter- hershey kisses are too tall

Snowman Popcorn Holder Tutorial

Remember this POST??? 

Its was the super cute snowman popcorn holder!

We made this version at a recent kids Stamping class!  Hope you like it!  the girls did!!

8.5 x 11 Sheet of whisper white.  add sticky strip where shown

any microwave popcorn will do!

fold it over and secure it with the long piece of sticky strip.

remove the shorter piece of sticky strip and pinch the bottom closed

For the hat:  3 x 12 piece of winter dsp

wrap around your popcorn sleeve and adhere.  But don't glue it to you sleeve!

bashful blue trim is 1 x 12.  same thing wrap around your hat, but don't adhere it to the sleeve

pom pom is TWO 1-3/8 circles.   First adhere each to the hat, then adhere to each other.  I hand trimmed the corners of the hat.

now it's time to embellish

EMBELLISH!!!

Scarf is 1 x 12  adhere this to the white sleeve!! scraps for the scarf flaps.  1" and 1-1/4 inch circle punch outs for the knot.

A Gift for baby

A gift for one of my husband's co-worker.  They had a sweet baby boy in December.

The Tin is from the Target dollar spot last year.  I have LOTS of these so I am trying to use them up!  

Inside is a package of 12 baby onsies cards.  Similar to THIS ONE  I used the teddy from the baby bundle stamp set.  

the clear box is is from clearbags.com.

the paper is pleated into sticky strip around the tin.  Retired Ribbon & scraps for the tag and for the handle.  You cant see it, but the tag is from the two tags Big shot die, on the front is stamped: Congratulations (baby bundle set) and there is a circle punch out with the same teddy on it.

Leadership! what a great trip!

OMGoodness!  What an AMAZING TRIP!  Leadership always turns out to be my absolute favorite!

Besides SU training, SU sisterhood is a BIG HUGE component.  I have met some AMAZING teammates along the way! many dont live in PA near me, so these events are when we catch up!

Ever been to the Gaylord Opryland?  its beyond amazing!  there was a boat in the Resort! (look close you can see the river)  Such a GREAT location!

Here are tHe Dream Builders!  These are the business builders group on my BIG team.  Each and everyone of these ladies help me every month to build and grow my business every month- and what great friends they have all become!

This is my friend Kathy.  SHE ROCKS!!!!  I love to share ideas with her!  

This also was the very end of make and takes and the very end of Leadership- I sure do look tired!!!
