Bold Blossoms & More Alaska

First the Project:

this stamp set is so much fun.  Shelli showed us some cute projects on the cruise using this stamp.  (this is not one of them)  I can't wait to make them and share but, I have club orders to tend to first!

Stamps: Hello Blossom
Paper: Pumpkin pie, concord crush and pear pizzaz
Ink: versamark
Accessories: white embossing powder, perfect polka dot embossing folder, rhinestones

and some more Alaska:

At our 1st stop, Ketchikan, we did a 4-wheel jeep excursion.  and 4 wheelin' is an understatement.  we went straight up the mountain side.  WOW!  After, we canoed across the lake.

Here we are at the lake.  canoeing was no small feat!

We learned that bears eat skunk cabbage to get things moving after a long winter.

and then eat this "bear bread" growing on the side of the tree to cork things up for the winter.  Oh yeas, my kids were delighted to discuss the bear's BM's

Here we are getting in the Jeeps

and the kiddos on the Canoe

Had a real great time on this one.  Tomorrow, you will get the short recap of the helicopter Dog sled excursion.  FABULOUS

A Baby Album Part 3 of 3

I will not be posting a full detailed recipe and I will not be offering any instructions for this book.  I had so much fun making both books that I wanted to share.

Basic recipe:

to make this you will need an 8x8 album, matching ribbon to tie in a bow.  I used A baby Bundle, Pun Fun and the baby Tees wheel for the stamps- black ink.

the Pages are made from the Subtles Collection- Card stock and the DSP paper stack- Celery, so saffron, pretty ink pink, bashful blue and perfect plum.  plus matching ribbon where shown.

Lots of punches and coloring to match.

Have FUN!!

A Baby Album- Part 1 of 3

My good friend Karen asked me to design a baby album to have on hand as a gift.  Well, no sooner than it was completed my husband claimed it as a gift for a co-worker. so, I had to make a 2nd one!  The gift was EXTREMELY WELL received.

I used the sweet stitches 8x8 Album from the Occasions mini

All Supplies are 100% Stampin Up!

ribbon was attached to the Album with sticky strip.

Stay tuned tomorrow for the next set of pages.
