NOTE:  THIS IS NOT THAT HARD--just time consuming....

saw one made by Glenda Travelstead on the Stampin' Up! cruise!  then I stumbled on a video on Youtube on how to make it!  I mostly followed the video....and improvised where I got lazy

get your hot glue gun out!!! (and some patience)

You can view the video HERE  or just search "cupcake gift card holder"
on youtube.com from the stamp goddess

I only made 1 of these-- I wonder if it will EVER leave my stamp room!

How about something old and sorta new??

Getting back into the groove now-- all is back to normal here at home.  swim team practice schedules are in full swing so I think we may be set for June and July--whew-- it was a bumpy first few days!

Club gifts!

Old retired designer paper and some retired Baja Breeze ribbon....some NEW Crumb cake ink and Baja Breeze is back!!  the NEW sizzlit is so cute for tags!!!  and I dusted of "Simply Said"!!!  I filled the box #2 die with 6 Reese's peanut butter cups.

I made  a whole bunch of these for gifts for my club members. I recently had a Stampers club end and this was the little thank you gift I put in their bags!  so cute-- and I managed to keep them completely under wraps from Lexy-- she did not eat a SINGLE one!  but she did get the valentines one from my stamp room 2 weeks ago.  I found just the ribbon-- she ate EVERYthing else.

(the Reply card is Stampin Up! small note card size )

Option 2 -this is cased from an invite I received from Stampin Up!

this is 4.25 x 12 and fits in a standard A2 envelope.  scored at 2.5 x 8.  its spritzed with shimmer paint

and the inside

we are using the same reply card as in option 1.  it will slip inside!

so the Bride Choose OPTION 2!!! Of course they are WAY WAY WAY better in person!!!!  Let me know what you think!!!

Builder Wheels take 2

Let me take a minute to explain the builder wheels.  First the ink:  the Triple Un-inked cartridge is made especially for the builder wheels.  I used Not Quite navy, rich razzleberry and Old Olive ink refills and just slowly squeezed it onto each section.  This way each section of the triple cartridge has ink.  Once inked you can not change the colors in the cartridge.  I have just one cartridge, but think 2 or 3 would satisfy my color needs.  and it would give me plenty of variety

Now that you know once the inked cartridge is ready it can not be changed.  BUT--you can change the wheels.  I just rinse the wheels with water to clean them!  Now the builder wheels have spacers so you can use 1 2 or 3 wheels -- lots of combos...with 3 inks.

Now onto the sample...I was just playing with the current combo of ink (Not Quite navy, rich razzleberry and Old Olive)  I LOVE how easy it is to make QUICK background paper for cards and scrap pages!!!

Now this card is made by my demo friend Cathie!  She used turquoise & Rich razzleberry.  SHe added some color with markers!

Enjoy!!!!!
