The Shabby Tea Room Challenge 6 meets SMOOCH

Here is a Sneak Peek  at the New Smooch spritz Stampin Up! is offering in the new Summer Mini.  I have never used these before now all I can say-- WOW they take covering chipboard to a whole new level!!

Take a closer look at the pictures-- My son REALLY likes chocolate milk and he likes it really chocolate-y.  So he skipped the spoon and poured.  I'm not sure how I got this shot- I was in the kitchen just playing with the camera.  He soon realized I was taking his picture.   Hmmm,  How much chocolate is too much???

And The Shabby Tea Room inspiration:

Here is a close up of how just a few spritz sprays cover chip board.  WOW

I also sprayed it right on the card stock.  My son constantly spills the Nesquick powder on the kitchen counter so I thought that it looked similar.  Sparkle texture...LOVE IT!!

On a side note, make sure you get the New Color Catcher.  This Smooch stuff sprays all over!  The color catcher is perfect for chipboard and cards, if you are spraying your 12x12 pages you will need to have a big box or go outside.  I made a bit of a mess!

Come play with the sketch at the Shabby Tea Room

Stamps: Things I love
Paper: Creamy caramel, chocolate chip, very vanilla
Ink: chocolate chip
Accessories: Smooch spritz in log cabin, chocolate chip striped grosgrain ribbon, chipboard letters, scallop border, curly label and 1" circle puches.

More Retreat Projects and Camera Class

Oh my!!! did I stamp and scrap up a storm at the retreat!  Here are a few cards.  I had time to ink up my extreme elements stamps and the various "Extreme sports" Guys I earned for free during sale-abration. I love free stamps!  these were loosely cased from one of my teammates Deb over at Artfelt impressions

This weeks Homework assignment for Camera Class was motion pictures and Shutter speed.  Now mind you I had no clue what this meant when I left class.  But after a litte time reading the book and googling it these were a few of my best shots.  Some of my class mates got some AMAZING pictures.  Im a beginner-- soon to get better!

so the easiest things that "moves" and has lots of Motion in my house are the dogs....Here is the mad dash for the "ball".  Look---- Zoe is air born. normally she can beat Jake to the ball, she's a bullet.  She must have had a late start.

this was a car driving by, poor driver was looking at me like I was crazy.  the purpose of this shot was to have the car in focus and the background as it appears through panning.

Here is Jake jumping for the ball.  He jumps like this to go for a ride in the car too.  Funny!

My 2 boys were the ball throwers in these various shots.   Here I tried to get them head on running for the ball.  Don't they look like they are smiling?

Cards used sweet peas DSP and matching card stock.  And Stazon black ink!

Club Project- GIFT BAGS

Each one of my club members got 2 designer sheets of paper to learn how to make a gift bag.  the gift bag specs can be found HERE in a PDF from Stampin Up!

You piece 2 sheets of the dsp together.  the trick-- score BOTH sheets exactly the same way.  with score lines down the left and along the bottom.  the little tiny rectangle at the bottom left of the PDF gets cut out.  Embellish as desired.

I know you all, Like me are looking for a way to use up some of that designer paper we have on hand.  I made 5 bags so I had them ready for gifts.  the Hard part-- they are so pretty you don't want to part them!

HAVE FUN!!!
