I made this card a while back but never put a sentiment on it.  I love how the Oval All stamp set just adds enough detail with out taking away form the main image

this card is cased, I am so sorry I can not find who did the original. if its you let me know. the original was done in sweet always paper (I think)

I had an extra pre-cut criss cross pennant die card.  I forgot how much fun these are!  

The cake is Bitty birthday.  My SU birthday sentiments are on the way so they words are non-SU

ZOE:  I am off to pick up my new puppy in a few minutes.  She is a black mini poodle and her name is Zoe.  For those of you who follow me here- Yes, I already have 2 dogs, Lexy and Jake.  they are Standard poodles (the biggest) and they are 60lbs each.  I needed a lap sized little dog and a sweet little poodle came into my life at the right place and the right time.  I will share a few pictures of our day soon.

I will have to keep her away form the SU card stock.....you know I swear its laced with beef.  (wink)

A little rose red DSP, crochet Fleurette and a sponge and markers.  How cute are these.  For the box I used 2 scallop envelope die cuts.  I adhered the edges as far apart as possible so the cards would fit.

Its teacher Appreciation week- these are perfect!!!

Tutorial: Ribbon cinching

Remember this card? it was in my 5th Avenue floral card kit a while back.   

So many of you have asked me how to do this.  Try it!  

Assemble the entire front panel of the card.  Then, spread the back of the brads and put your ribbon inside.

Fold the one of the brad backs to one side to hold the ribbon.mark with a pencil where you want the brad to be on your card.  then punch it with your crop-a-dile.
Push the Brad through as shown, then separate the brad backs

tuck the ribbon under the panel.  then attach the entire panel to your card base.  

I like this with the wider ribbons.  looks great with rhinestone brads too!  Have fun!!!

This is the class I am holding this weekend at my house.  There are several color choices this is the one with the manchester paper.

I mentioned on Friday that I spent all day yesterday at our Local Team meeting with the Remarkable stampers.  What fun.  Lots of really nice demonstrator, a great guest speaker, TONS of business ideas, and I even won 2 prizes!

a little pizzaz please

I am attending a Team meeting tomorrow for Stampin Up!  Its about 100 Su Demonstrators from the area.  So much fun!  I volunteered to be a display stamper- I got to make a bunch of projects for the display boards featuring flower Brads.  this is a 6x6 scrap page.  

all supplies are Stampin Up!

Stamps: Petal pizzaz

Paper:  Baja Breeze, Rose red card stock and designer prints paper, whisper white

Ink:  Kiwi kiss, rose red

Accessories: 1/2" circle punch, curly label, scallop circle and photo corners punches.  Rose red wide double stitched 1" ribbon, Flower Brads and dimensionals

Simply Oval all

I saw this card on Nichole Heady's blog.  Thought it was cute and simple.  This was my version using all of my Stampin' Up! Supplies.   What do you think?

Recipe:

Stamps:  Wonderful You, Oval all

Paper:   Close to cocoa, chocolate chip, very vanilla

Ink:  chocolate chip craft ink, close to cocoa

Accessories:  clear embossing powder, close tot cocoa marker, Chocolate chip taffeta ribbon, large oval and scallop oval punch

Ribbon medallion

To get the ribbon medallion you need to sew the ribbon on.  punch holes around the punch out and sew the taffeta on with the large needle from the crafters tool kit.  I hate to admit that I made that medallion over a year ago, and just now made it into a card. (sigh)

Paper:  confetti white, kiwi kiss dsp and card stock,  pacific point

Ink: same

Accessories:  scallop circle nestabilities, pewter adn rhinestone brads

Big shot Baby Carriage

Isn't this stinkin' cute?  I made it with my big shot!!!

Carriage:  scallop die.  standard card folded and run through the big shot with the fold slight inside of the edge of the die.    Cut out section to make carriage

cut 2 additional scallops out of designer paper.  cut one in half for the bottom.  cut the other into thirds and adhere to card.

Eyelet border punch 2 strips for the edges of carriage.  mine were hand trimmed to be thin.

wheels: 1-1/4 inch and 1 inch circle punches, flower fusion too, 5/16" neutral brads in white

handle:  swirls and scribbles sizzlit die for the big shot

taffeta ribbon for the bow.  

if the handle is straight up and down from the edge of the stroller this fits into a standard a2 envelope

ETA:  I cased THIS card and This card, but utilized my big shot supplies to make it

RAIN RAIN GO AWAY!!!  but the April showers bring May flowers....its a tough call!   this cherry blossom embosslit is very cute.  I sponged this one with white craft ink
