Got Scraps?? make some cards

I made this set of note cards for my Hostess this past weekend.

The card box is cased from one that Lauren Meader made.  I did not purchase her template- I was able to figure the box out by looking at it.  Can't say I was that lucky with any of her other templates.  She is super talented.
these are flat note cards.  each base is 4-1/4 x 5-1/2.  the whisper white layer is just a bit smaller at 4 x 5-1/4.  I took some scraps I had a TON of long skinny strips.  I trimmed the DSP to 5" x 3/4" and made these:  there are 2 of each.

I cased these from Michelle Wooderson.  You can see her's HERE.
these are a great way to use of those strips of Designer paper that you always think you will use but never do.  Hmmmm I am thinking I may need to make this a category.  Everyone's Got Scraps!!

NOTE: I lost my creativity a week or so ago and the only way I have been able to create anything at all is to case. (copy and selectively edit) I hope you don't mind.  I have a few new items coming.  thank goodness my creativity is back and flowing again!

Recipe:
Stamps:  Lovely Letters, Polka Dot Punches, Sweet little Sentiments
Paper:  Raspberry Tart, Rose red, Kiwi kiss, whisper white
Ink:  Rose red, Kiwi Kiss
Accessories:  Rose Red 1" wise double stitched Ribbon, circle punches

I secured the sides to make the pocket with sticky strip- which I of course forgot to bring to the workshop. DUH!  Sorry ladies!!!!!

Its a Zoo out there!

This was option # 2 for those that like invites that open.  I loved both but went with yesterdays flat card after surveying about 20 people.  the verdict was split 50/50.  I liked the booger size of the other- it was a standard business envelope (#10 size)

All the supplies are the same as yesterday....

Club card spoiler & Video Tutorial

My Stampers 10 club girls will be getting this card with their orders.  Since I am unable to stamp for them, they need to root through their stash of stamps to find a critter or a cute image that will create "the scene".

For the 1st card I choose Pun Fun.  The little skunk is so cute in the grass.  The Video below shows how to create the clouds in the background and it covers the masking technique.  Since I can't always teach all my club members in person I thought a video would be a perfect solutio!! Enjoy!

This sample shows Loads of Love

And this sample shows Wild About You

And this one, Sweet Stems

Stamps: Various
Paper:  Bashful blue, whisper white, delicate dots, basic black
