Bella Blossoms Class recipes & Video Tutorial

I held this class last night at my home. Bella Blossom

To see how I made these cards, check out my VERY 1st and VERY amateur video tutorial. Don't mind my sarcasm (if you can catch it) and don't mind the reversed images. I shot this 1st one from my laptop! I am not sure video is my cup of tea.....maybe with some practice! and a video camera would probably help. (I know I am my own WORST critic) Enjoy!

COLORS

Left: Pink Pirouette, dauber Rose red; Ribbon Pretty in Pink

I stamped the small flower on the inside of the card and on the envelope using the same sponge dauber technique. We learned how to do this at Convention last July.

How about some texturz?

I ran this through the Big shot, following the instructions on the multipurpose platform and using the texturz impressions and silicone rubber mat.  Make sure you get these if you are ordering the texturz plates.  I did NOT spritz my card stock with water or alcohol, but I did add a card stock shim to get a deeper impression.  Water or alcohol?  yes apparently you can spritz your paper to get a deeper impression.  and alcohol??  it just dries faster.

Baby Shower Favors

I made these as options for baby shower favors.  My friend choose the box in a bag version for the shower.  Cute!

Paper:  Very vanilla, pink pirouette, whisper white, pretty in pink, K&Co baby stack, pretty ink pink dsp.

A sneak peek and a swap

This one does double duty!  I made this for a swap I am in for Sale-a-bration samples.  Don't ya just Love it??  I do!  Am I getting you excited to shop and earn some Free stamps???  

The inside of the swap card was a little different since I was in a "get it in the mail fast!" time crunch.  I can't wait to see what the other ladies have made.

Changing it up #2- Club style

Each month members of my Stamper's 10 clubs gets a card to make in their packages.  I can't stamp images for them so I decided I would show how to take the exact same components and make 2 very different cards.

Here is the Original design of my December club card:  

I took out Pocket silhouettes and made this card with all the exact same components.  I did not paper piece the birds, instead I turned the card horizontally and trimmed the designer paper as a layer and stamped on it.   I left off the button and decided it was best suited for another card.  

For this version I skipped the paper piecing the birds, and layered with the designer paper scrap. 

So what do you think?  I like all the versions!

a spin off

This was a spinn off of one of my swap cards for leadership.  You can see that card HERE

No color spritzing and less layers than the original.  simple.  I like this one too, but find the one with more layers a little more striking.

I was going for a simple, elegant black and white card. sometimes these can be sooooooo tricky. I was not going to share this card since I really am not sure I like it. You cant see the glitter in the photo, but this is very sparkly. I am interested in your thoughts....

A Holiday Thanks

I made a bunch of these for as "Holiday Gift Thank You Notes" for family & Friends.  These were fun.  Mr Twigster is colored with my copic markers to match the SU colors in the designer paper

The kids had so much fun with is one- teeth, eye shadow, lashes!  etc.  Notice the I love you glitter hand (sign language)

This was for a 3-d Swap I was in while at leadership.  Do you like???

This is a modified triangle box.  A tutorial can be found HERE.  I altered the measurements to make it a little more mass production friendly.

My specs are 4x8, (maximizing a 12x12 sheet of so saffron card stock)  score it at 4", then  following the guidelines in the tutorial.  I just cut triangle to fit inside and glued them in place with some snail.

Leadership Swap number 1

Well- I am back from the Stampin' Up! Leadership conference, exhausted and ready for bed.  But I just Love my new catalog and all the new surprises!  New dies for the big shot, new stamps and lots of fabulous new accessories!  I can't wait until everyone gets theirs too!  

I made a similar version of this card for a swap I was in while at leadership.  The only real difference was the inside of the card.  I stamped the inside of the swap card the same as seen here, but with no additional inside layers.  Don't you just love this????

Valentine Ghiradelli Holder

Mini Reese's cup Treat Holder

This adorable little box holds 2 mini Reese's peanut butter cups.  Its made with the largest scallop die for the big shot.  This was a project that my Big Shot club members made. 

 

The kids made this at my kids camp.  I pre-scored the scallop for them but in the below picture you can see exactly how to make it.  Enjoy!

Valentine will you be mine

I embossed the brown designer paper with white embossing powder.   I also embossed the heart.  The glitter is stickles.  Its what was sitting on the table.   It looks really nice in real life.
