My daughter went to a birthday party the day after Halloween.  This was how I wrapped the Present.  The orange bag is a popcorn style box that my friend Shauna sent me. (Thanks!)  Not sure I remember where she got it- but its really cute!  I took some ghostly greeting paper and some old olive ribbon- and this is what I created.  the gems are stickers- and that was my daughters addition to the design.  What was inside?  a Pink Pony Webkinz

Answers to some Christmas Tree questions.....

for the Tree, there are no measurements.  take a look at the bottom edge of each layer.  I punched (from scraps) 7 scallops, then six, then 5 and so on.  I then hand cut the triangles so the edges would hide behind the layer above it.  start at the bottom and work your way up.    Its so simple!

Thanks to everyone who left such sweet comments!

Button Up for Christmas

The tree is triangles with the bottom edge scalloped using the scallop edge punch.  Its hard to see but I sponged the edges.

Stamps:  All Holidays, Sanded
Paper:  Baja Breeze, Chocolate Chip, Kiwi Kiss, Barely Banana
Ink:  Baja Breeze, Chocolate Chip, Kiwi Kiss

A few More Quarter Auction prizes

In addition to prizes shown in yesterdays post I made a version of this tile and the Stampin' Up! Decor Elements.  My version had a few green leaves as well.
And I also auctioned off a Birthday Box....

The Mr Twigster ornament and box are coming soon.  He was soooooo cute.  I think all the Quarter Auction prizes were well received.

not original...but so pretty

I had a Quarter Auction this evening and this was one of my prizes.  I cased a design I saw somewhere along the way.... thanks to the original artist.  I used tumbled tiles from Home Depot to make these coasters.  for the flowers:  its craft ink applied directly to the stamp with sponge daubers.  I baked them at 350 for 20 minutes and spray sealed them.  I wanted the flowers to be a little darker so I will need to experiment with the color choices of the flowers.  These make great gifts!

Stamps: Inspired by Nature
Paper: none
Ink:  Earth Elements craft ink in Summer sun, old olive and chocolate chip
Accessories:  tumble tiles from Home Depot, Matte spray sealant, daubers and the oven.

Thanks so much Diane- I am honored to be your friend and I love this gift set!

Big Shot Club projects

Each of my "Big Shot" club members got to make versions of these projects.  The colors and the designer paper varied but they projects follow these samples.

Enjoy!  If you need a specific recipe for any of these projects- email me.  IF you need it....a tutorial for the Envelope box can be found HERE.

Snow Swirled Snow Globe

I found this in the photo section at Target.  (on clearance) Its supposed to hold 2 wallet size photos- But It screamed "alter me"  and so I did.  Stamped the Tree (on both sides of the insert), added a rhinestone brad to the top and inserted it into the snow globe. EASY!

Ink: Old olive, real red
Accessories: Rhinestone brad (non-SU), Old Olive ribbon, snow globe from Target, tag corner punch, slot punch

Get Well Wishes

A super big Thanks goes out to my friend Shauna from Texas for this project!  She sent me 2 boxes of stamping goodies....little bits of this and that she has picked up along the way on her shopping excursions.  These adorable goodies boxes were from Martha Stewart.  I altered them to be "get well" boxes.   I can't wait to send her back a box of goodies with some of things I made from her box.  What a sweetheart she is!

So I got the idea for this get well box from HERE.
Inside my box is a purse pack of tissues, 6 cough drops and 2 tea bags.

Stamps: A little birdie told me
Paper:  Old Olive, Rose Red, Georgia Peach dsp
Ink:  black
Accessories:  Old Olive ribbon, nestabilities, markers for coloring, ticket corner punch, flower fusion, silver brads.  boxes are Martha Stewart.
