This is what my Daughter took to kindergarten today
Here are 2 more versions of my November card kit. I picked 2 other Christmas sets to show some versatility in my card kits. I used all the same inks and accessories. the only thing I added was a little bit of white gel pen to the ornament card on the Season of Joy version.
This would make such a CUTE party invite for a little boy!-- Change it up to pinks & purples and it would be perfect for a girl!
Ok, this is an instance where "In-Person" is WAAAAAY Better. These pictures do nothing for this frame. Its so pretty.
I left the can rather simple- the words on the paper say it all.
This is my Crazy For Cupcakes class by Mail. I have SOLD OUT of the Classes that include the turquoise punch box tin. If you have your own punch box and if you would like to purchase the kit with out the punch box tin I will be taking orders until 10/31

This was a prize last month for my Quarter Auction. I cased this set from Mandy at Paper Inklings : HERE. the directions Purse Box for cards is from Andrea Walford, click here, (she got it from Diana Gibbs)

Snow is made with liquid applique. But can also be made with tulip puffy paint. I hand scribbled the wreaths for the doors. and the sky was quickly colored with Bashful Blue ink and the water brush. On the inside I stamped Merry Christmas.
Above is My November Card Kit of the Month. This version uses Snow Swirled. To show the versatility of this card kit collection I made 2 other versions of this same set of cards using different stamps. I will share each collection throughout the week.

I earned Just Jawing for free! Yes- its a great perk to being an SU demonstrator- Free Stamps! I found the treat bags at Target in the Birthday aisle- on clearance. Cute colors! So I decorated them for my kids to take to school for Halloween parties. They will have a HUGE assortment to pick from this year since I made a bunch at my Sweet Treats for Halloween class and these, plus a few others I have made. My very 1st Free Standing Pop-up card:
I participated in a Quarter Auction last Month and this was one of the Prizes. What's a Quarter Auction? It's really, really!! fun and some ladies are REALLY LUCKY. The Auctioneer holds up the prize and describes it. If you want to bid on the Prize You hold Up your paddle or paddles. Each paddle has a number on it. Each prize has a bid amount- 1, 2, 3, or 4 quarters. You toss the amount of quarters in the bin on your table when you hold up your paddle. Then the auctioneer calls random numbers pulled out of a bin. The 1st paddle with the number called is the winner! So for just a $1.00 (or so) you could have won this prize!

A double Duty swap card. I made this for a Demonstrator swap I am in as well as a team email swap I am in. Hope they like it. I used a new flower brad to cinch the ribbon. I made a small cut out in the top note so the brad could fit in. The entire Tee top note panel is popped up on dimensionals.
I made this for a co-worker who was having a really tough week. She loved it and so did I- it was so hard to give this beauty away! These scallop envelope boxes are super easy to make and have a really nice WOW factor.
I brayered this card in Pumpkin after I black embossed the silhouette. the pumpkin alone was not working, so I layered it with Tangerine Tango card stock. the ribbon is layered as well, black over top of the tangerine striped ribbon.
this card is in my October card kit that highlights the Inspired by Nature stamp set. details can be found here.
Recipe:
Stamps: Inspired by Nature, big pieces(retired)
Paper: Tangerine tango, Black, whisper white
Ink: pumpkin pie, versamark
Accessories: ribbon, black embossing powder, wide oval punch

Does anyone else out there have several piles of unfinished projects???? I sure do and this was one of them! Above is the 8.5x8.5 scrap page we made at convention. I don't own any scrap books that size, not to mention I did not want to waste the page, so I transformed into a 12x12. I took an 8.5x11 sheet of Kiwi Kiss to match, scallop edge punched it and layered it with the original page. The base is 12x12 Sahara sand card stock. I love that wide double stitched ribbon!!
Recipe:
Stamps: Flight of the butterfly
Paper: Kiwi Kiss, Pumpkin pie, rose red, Sahara sand
Ink: versamark, (I think), white kraft ink for the chipboard
Accessories: buttons, wide double stitched ribbon, scallop edge punch, flower fusion too, chipboard,

So How did I do? It was a fun little challenge and best of all she loved them and she has already added a few of the items used in the cards to her last club order! (I am sneaky, LOL). These designs lend themselves to a variety of stamped images. Check out your stamps- Do any of your holiday images fit these layouts?? & The glitter is there-look close!
I made this bird a while back- maybe even July or August? It was when I learned the technique of ribbon fraying. You pull a small piece of the end of the grosgrain(only 1 end works) and you unravel the ribbon. That's how I got the crazy Birds hair.
The Bird is cut from the Oval coluzzle in so saffron. I sponged the edges in pumpkin ink. The grass is hand cut from scraps then I ran them through the crimper. The nose and legs are also hand cut. To see my inspiration, click here.
Recipe:
Stamps: circle of friendship (retired)
Paper: so saffron, old olive and rose red card stock and DSP
Ink: rose red, pumpkin
Accessories: ribbon, oval coluzzle, paper crimper, circle punches
Yes, that Monkey is still hanging around....

Each month, as part of the club, my Big shot club members get to make 4 projects. These 1st 2 you have seen before in previous posts. I loved them so much I had to share them with the girls.
This project utilizes the pillow box die. I cased this from Angie Juda. You can see hers HERE. Its super cute don't you think!
This project uses the top note, folded into a purse. We made these at a Diva Day team event last month. the chocolates fit in perfectly! The club girls made theirs in bashful blue designer prints paper and chocolate chip. so cute
I hope the girls enjoyed the projects!
This set is so fun and surprisingly easy to use. This is another card Featured in my October Card Kit of the Month program. Click here for details.
Recipe:
Stamps: Inspired by Nature, Curly Label punch bundle, fundamental phrases
Paper: Kraft, riding hood red, black
Ink: Riding hood red, basic black
Accessories: Curly label punch bundle, top note, jumbo eyelets, sponge, red riding hood taffeta ribbon

I am participating in a swap group with a few other Demonstrators. Twila and Becky have blogs and are in the swap group but I am not sure about the details of the other ladies. I will add them later if they have blogs. This was last months card submission, anything from the new Fall Winter Idea book & Catalog. I chose Pocket Silhouettes.
To get the green background, I used a technique called reverse masking. I took a piece of scrap copy paper and punched 4 square scallops from the new SU square scallop punch. I overlapped the corners so the scallops would be even in the middle. I sponged through the mask with Kiwi kiss ink. Then I stamped the images over it with Chocolate chip ink.
I just finished this month card- I'll share that this week.
