Accessories:  Black chunky sprinkles, mono multi liquid glue, 1" circle punch, pretties kit, black grosgrain and bashful blue taffeta ribbon.  

WOW Flowers

I was going for the look of creating Designer Paper- with glitter.  Similar to what they are making with some of the new Papertreyink sets.   This techniques would work great with the Baroque motif medallions.   I did use the stamp-a-ma-jig to get the perfect line up of the flowers.  I also drew, then erased, very faint grid lines with a pencil, using the Stampin' Up! grid paper as a guide.  This was time consuming, but its sooooo pretty in real life.  Each of the flower centers has glitter. I love the simplicity of it.

Eastern Blooms treat bag

I LOVE THIS!  Its a Lunch bag, yes the cheap ones from the grocery store, with the top note window cut through it.  I added acetate to create the window.  Tell me- won't these be awesome for the holidays?????  Ummmm- YES!

So I had no "real treats" to put in the bag last night so I went with dog treats. its a disconnect from the Eastern Blooms- imagine really fattening cookies in there.    The back part of the lunch bag gets crumpled when cranking it through the Big Shot, so the bag lost some of its "stiffness".  I am sure that's partly due to the fact that these are very inexpensive lunch bags.  

I stuck the XL Top Note die in the middle of the bag, lined it up and centered it on the die as best I could and then ran it through the Big Shot.  Adhered acetate to create the window.  The bag is stamped in Eastern Blooms, with red craft ink.  The centers of the flowers were doodled with a Stampin' Up white gel pen.

Its a Celebration...

I made this to highlight the Big Shot (I used the Top Note XL die) and for the Creative challenge on Shelli's blog.  Each month Shelli, the CEO and co-founder of Stampin' Up! has a creative challenge.  Here is my submission for her "Celebrate" challenge.

It was a fun morning at the bus stop this past Monday.  The smiles were big for both the kids and the parents.  LOL

Recipe:  

Stamps: Celebrate Everything, Best Yet (hostess)

Paper:  Whisper White, Pacific Point, Bashful blue DSP

Ink:  Pacific Point

Accessories:  Pacific Point striped ribbon, rhinestone brad, new largest oval punch, slot punch.

Big Shot Party hats

Stampin Up! Exclusive pennant dies-- made into party hats.  The one below uses the smaller die and makes a perfect size hat for a Webkinz pet.  

I had my daughter design her own.  Can you tell?  

We were a little off of the measurements to have the hat fit so we put some eyelets on the side and some thin ribbon for the chin tie.  

I lined up the paper - My daughter worked the Big Shot.  This toy is very kid friendly (if you need and excuse to buy it of course!) 

Recipe:  Lots of paper (double sided because you can see inside the hat) and some ribbon.  No stamping here!  I used the Mono multi liquid glue to adhere the pennants together.

Happiness Gift set

Stinking cute gift set- Don't ya Think?  The bag is from a project made a convention.  The card is 100% cased (copied & selectively edit) from THIS CARD from Cindy Beach.   In this case 95% copied.  I changed a few little elements and then made this adorable gift bag to match. 

Recipe:  

Stamps:  happiness background, Fresh Cuts

Paper:  Whisper white, bella rose, baja blue

Ink:  red riding hood

Accessories:  filigree brads, boho blossoms punch, 3 for you flower punch, The top note Big shot die, brads, paper piercer, pink pirouette wide ribbon.  

Do you like Inspired by Nature?

A small break from The Big Shot....YES I do like this set.  But I am not using it on this card/post.

This card was inspired by the set.

Step 1 :  Punch a scallop circle.  crumple it up as best you can.

Step 2:  Un-crumple and fold in half, snip into the scallops to form petals

Step 3:  Punch 2 black 1 inch circles, trim the bottom edges to make it straight

Step 4 :  cover 1 circle with Mono Multi liquid glue and add Black Chunky Sprinkles glitter and let dry

Step 5:  Attach to flower, add stem

Step 6:  create card

You can do this exact same flower using the large flower from the pretties kit as well.  I have a really cute scrap page to share using that style flower...stay tuned.

Paper:  Pacific point, Whisper white, black, celery, kiwi kiss, bashful blue

Wow Flowers and the Big Shot

This little Die is so cute.  I ran the die through so saffron and pretty in Pink.  I trimmed the pretty in pink one on the stitched edges so it would layer.

A Big Shot Blitz

Over the Next week I will be sharing a bunch of projects I have made with the Big Shot from Stampin' Up! & Sizzix.  This uses the envelope die (a Stampin' Up! exclusive!)  and the new set, flight of the butterfly.

Have you made your Wish List?

There were 6 ladies from my local team, the SpARKleDivas, that went to convention. I made each of the ladies a convention gift. It included a wish list made from Bella Rose paper, a beaded pen, post-it notes and hand sanitizer. The sentiment is from Define Your Life "Everything". We wish for everything in the catalog, Right???

the tablets are Staples Junior Legal pads cut in half length wise. I plan on making these again during the Holidays.

ETA:the pads are from Staples- junior legal pads- cut longways. I think they are about$5 for 12 pads) I had mine cut here at work, but one of my good friends had hers cut at Staples for just $2

The designer series paper in celery is retired, but thank goodness there are new patterns. This is for sure one of my favorite colors. This set is really fun!   All supplies are Stampin' Up!

Quick and Easy Holiday tags

From the Challenge Me post....I dusted off Loads of Love and made a 3x3 note card set.  These were fun and are adorable in person the Jumbo Eyelets make them!  and of course I had to make them with the New "in colors"

Inspired by Nature

I just love this stamp set!  So easy to work with.  I used cameo coral and really rust for the flower using sponge daubers to apply the ink to the stamp.  I used celery for the grass and old olive, again with the dauber, for the stem and leaves.  All supplies are Stampin' Up!

For the Little Baby Boy

Mary Polcin, the 1st woman from Stampin' Up! to cross $1 million in career sales, presented at convention.  She showed us how she presents at a workshop, the process of taking a 6x6 page and building it into a 12x12 page.  A concept that is not new I know- I have been in the gallery for this over at Splitcoast!  I have never tried it until now.  What a challenge for me...but hey all scrapping is a challenge for me!

Why this?  I had a workshop yesterday and she requested baby items and a scrap page (The hostess' sister had her baby boy 5 weeks early).  I just love the outcome!  and if you have never tried it you should.  This was hard for me!  but I loved the challenge and I am sure to do it again!

not to mention I dug out the sweetest pictures of my oldest son, who is now 10, of the 1st days he was born.  Nice memories for sure!

ETA:  the bag topper is a 8x10 piece of card stock.  Score on the long side at 4 and 6 inches.

Use the slot punch and punch on the score lies where the handles go.  cut the score lines in between the slot punches along the score line so the handles can slip in.

Wonderful Flowers

This card was one that the ladies made at a workshop before I left for convention.  I forgot that I did not post it.  Its really beautiful in person and luckily it fits the challenge submitted by Nicole.  Flowers and 6x3 in Size.

I stamped a 2nd set of flowers, cut them out, curled the edges slightly and then added dazzling diamonds for some bling.

Stay tuned for a few more challenges.  I have already made 2 new projects from the comments left.  Very Fun! and like other challenges out there they make you think outside the box.  Some of the stamps mentioned I do not own, but I will improvise so you can easily transfer it to the set you do have.  Thanks ....its nice to dust off a few sets!

I am looking for a challenge.  Knowing we are just days away for a new catalog and new accessories, which by the way are fabulous, I thought I should dust off a few sets I already own to revive them and pay attention to them.

mmmmmm, chocolate!

So I still have not seen my stamp room yet....I know can you believe there are new stamps in my house and I have not inked them up.  GASP!!!  

Anyway I am so proud of this book I figured I would share.  During Convention I was paired up with a team mate to be her secret sister.  I emailed her and asked her her favorite dessert.  Below is a cookbook with 10 Chocolate Pie recipes that I made with my bind it all and stamped with her favorite set, Baroque Motifs.  In addition to this cookbook, she got a whole bag of hand made goodies and 1 each of my swap cards.

the above page is a pocket to add additional recipes.  I have no idea if the recipes are any good- but this sure was fun to make.

Club card -Spolier

This month My club girls will be making a gift card holder.  I made 3 color/paper choices and each lady will get one in their package-so its a bit of a surprise which one they will get.  The inside designer paper is a pocket that holds a gift card. I made these and then made another version for one of my WOW swaps for convention.  These are super quick!
