Stamper's 10 club

I have a few people on a wait list to start a new club.  If you are interested in joining one of my Stamper's 10 clubs, Email me for the details.  I have both local and long distance options. Thanks!

For a Dear Friend

I made this for the Splitcoaststampers sketch challenge on Wednesday.  Love this layout!!!  The card is 5.25 square and I used 1 1/4 and 1 3/8 inch square punches.  I had some scraps of this designer series prints paper in a bin and this was the result!  Absolutely beautiful in person!  I gave this card to a neighbor who had a good friend that was just diagnosed with breast cancer.  They were giving her a gift before her surgery and I thought this card was perfect.  Inside it said "If wishes could make you well, you would be better already" from curvy verses.

Recipe:
Stamps: All Holidays, curvy versus
Paper: Designer prints paper in celery, pink and bashful blue, celery, whisper white pretty in pink and bashful blue card stock.
Ink: celery
Accessories:1 1/4 and 1 3/8 inch square punches, 3 flower punch, brads

Birthday party Thank Yous

Here is the prototype. Of course it should match the invitations as see in THIS POST.
Then I woke up- I was not about to hand cut a bazillion pennants and then thread ribbon 8 more times. Don't get me wrong, these are way cute-- I was just out of "production" energy.

This is what the rest of the Thank yous ended up looking like:

They still match the whole set- just a little easier to produce! I skipped the silver cord for the balloons this time around (found on the gift bags HERE) I found a sliver gel pen in my tool bin and hand doodled them!

All supplies are Stampin Up unless noted:

Recipe:
Stamps: Birthday Whimsy, Lots of Thoughts (yes I am putting those SAB sets to good use LOL)
Paper: Creative License Simply Scrappin' Kit, whisper white
Ink: Wild Wasabi, Pumpkin Pie
Accessories: silver gel pen, 1 3/8 and 1 1/4 inch square punches, non-SU decorative scissors

Out on a Limb- Stampin Up Style

Well who ever at Stampin' Up! decided to retire Peaceful Wishes should have their head examined! I hope there is a new amazing set to replace this one! I am not sure why I did not see this "limb" idea before this card considering I am always checking out the competition and all the cute stuff in their card galleries!! maybe because this set is stored with my holiday stamps! I held a retirement contest and one of the winners is getting 4 cards made by me with my favorite retiring sets. Well here is one of the 4 card she will be getting. The contest totally made me break out of the box for this card and use it in a non-holiday way.
This is certainly celery--even though it appears brighter on the picture.

New Picture of ME!

I updated my Profile picture.  Check it out...

Sunflower notes

These are cute little Sunflower note cards (3x3).  The big flower on the tote is cased from Lauren Meader.  She made them from the cutting the circle nestabilities and layering the different sizes.  Her bag was a plain giant flower.  I changed mine and mounted it on a cute tote made from Chocolate chip card stock.  The notes have the Stampin' Up scallop punch cut into coordinating flowers.  the flower centers are 3/4 inch circle that are embossed randomly with the crop-a-dile.  The leaves are crimped and hand cut.

The tote is 1/2 sheet of card stock scored on 1 inch on the 2 short sides and at 3.5 and 5 on the long side.  snip the short score lines and fold to make the box.

All supplies are Stampin' Up unless noted
Stamps: All Holidays for the sentiment, big bold birthday for the flower on the envelope.
Paper: Chocolate Chip, So Saffron, old olive
Ink: Chocolate chip
Accessories: Circle nestabilities, SU scallop punch, circle punch, paper crimper, crop-a-dile, chocolate twill ribbon

This was a technique challenge on SCS last week.  You can find the tutorial HERE.  This is such a cute gift idea and I have also seen people put 2 standard cards in each side that match.  Mine are 3x3 with Envelopes.  I think I may give this to one of the teachers with a gift card tucked inside.  Every one's last day is tomorrow and I am running out of gift making time!

Father's Day Makeover

In hindsight,  the white panel would have been better in very vanilla!  Definitely used my Stamp-a-ma-jig for the background.  My tiny little Starstruck stamp set was feeling neglected. Do you sometimes forget that black is so easy to work with?  All supplies are Stampin' Up! unless noted.

A Fresh New Look-Blog makeover

Spent all evening with the re-design.  Do you like it?

I do.  I am getting the hang of digital scrapping.  I'll might try a few more before I settle on one.

Birthdays are the Best

These were the treat bags for the Party Attendees.
Inside each bag was a gift card to Target for $5 as a "thanks" for coming to the party. I had a hard time deciding what to give as party favors for 10 year olds. I settled on Target gift cards, but McDonald's came in a close 2nd!

Recipe:

Stamps: Its your Birthday, Birthday Whimsy, Simple serif mini alphabet and numbers (for the $5)

Paper: Hostess Simply Scrappin' Kit: Creative License

Ink: pumpkin pie

Accessories: Small and Large star punches, brads, white small bags from LSS, Orange tissue paper, dimensionals, silver cord

It was a POOL PARTY

These were the invites to my son's 10th birthday Pool Party from this past weekend. This was not my original idea...I cased it from THIS card on Splitcoaststampers.com. The invites were very bright- I used the striped paper from the Fall/Winter 2007 hostess scrappin kit: Creative license. This would work great with The Stampin Up paper Pack Spring Break or Jersey Shore. Awesome colors for a Boy invite. I got tons of compliments! The outer envelope was stamped with "your invited for fun in the sun"
We had 11 kids to swim-- it was a great (and easy) party!
Stay Tuned for the Party bags and the treat inside of them!
Recipe:
Stamps: Various clear Alphabets (CTMH & Technique Tuesday)
Paper: Creative License simply scrapping kit, wild wasabi, pumpkin pie, whisper white
Ink:wild wasabi, pumpkin pie, black

Chipboard flower & the Grid technique

This is made with the center of the Chipboard flower from the Club card posted yesterday. I colored this small flower with a real red marker and then adhere the button with a small glue dot. this is then attached to a Die Cut Bloom (from the Occasions Mini-- extended until June 30th) The leaves are made with old olive scraps and the paper crimper.
GRID TECHNIQUE: the whisper white panel is scored on a diagonal in both directions 1" apart. I scored 1/4" border around the edges. What a great technique!
Recipe:
Stamps: sentiment is from Papertreyink.com
Paper: whisper white, bashful blue
Ink:black
Accessories: chipboard, real red marker, button, striped ribbon, die cut blooms, scor-pal (you can use any scoring tool for this), paper crimper for the leaves.
