Eastern Elegance Rub-Ons

These were quick and easy.  I used River Rock card stock, ginger blossom paper, black grosgrain ribbon and Eastern elegance rub-ons.  The sentiment is from Short and Sweet.

I used these for a few thank you notes for some of the ladies that took my recent class by mail.  

Birthday Birdie

This was the card my club ladies received with their orders. The birdie is from Pun Fun. a fabulously cute set- and very versatile. I hope to host a class sometime this spring featuring this fun set. Designer paper is cutie pie with celery, saffron, pomegranate and bashful blue card stock and ink. the oval is stamped from scrap rubber punched with the small oval, then mounted on cling. What about adding glitter to his belly? Enjoy!

Back to Stamping! One of a Kind

Back to stamping the background that is. I did not realize how much I reach for designer paper. which is pretty much always now, what did we ever do with out it? We stamped backgrounds!

This is Blue bayou, real red and soft sky made with the One of a Kind set. I used the 1/2 inch circle punch to make the scallops around the circle I cut with the coluzzle. I added dots with the gel pen. I love this striped ribbon!!

I cased this card from one on Splitcoast- but I can't locate the original link. I'll try to add it later. If the original artist is reading my blog THANKS for the inspiration.

Friendship Blooms

This is by far my favorite Sale-a-Bration set. This card was inspired by a team mate Debra Currier. Her layout was very similar. Thanks Debra for the inspiration.

This card uses the new Stampin' Up felt flowers and the new hodgepodge hardware that will be available on March 1st. Styled Silver. The close up shot, although a little blurry, shows one of the smaller flat brads that has a flower on the front. Both of these accessories are MUST HAVE for you stamping stash. They really pump up the WOW factor.

You are One of a Kind

Just a quick post tonight. Lots of germs this week in our home-- which really cuts into stamping time! Everyone is on the mend and getting better. thanks goodness I am having serious stamp withdrawl!!!

This card is made with the One of Kind stamp set. Bashful blue, sahara sand and black cardstock and ink to match. The ribbon is non-Stampin' Up! but the colors are a perfect match. Hope you like it!

A Valentine Production house

I really was a Valentine production house.   25 for Each of my 3 Children.  Stamped, Assembled and ready to color.  Both my boys were giving out these various Blue ones.  (They stamped the inside with a sentiment)  This is a shot of a few of my oldest son's cards.  He's in 4th grade and loved these.  My other son is in 2nd grade and had the same ones.  They choose to make the mouse white like Stuart Little.  

My Daughter's were very similar to these but she swooped them off to school before I could snap a picture.  they had images from last year's sale-a-bration set Very Punny.  All were 3x3 cards with no envelopes.  I used up some of my non-stampin up paper for these, since I know where they were headed.  LOL.

I made 50 of these.  25 in pink and 25 in red.  I have been busy.  I was coloring these at stoplights in the car to get them done. LOL

Its a Love thing

This card is sooooo much better is real life. The heart (from a CTMH set) is red craft ink embossed and cut out. The sentiment is from the eastern elegance rub-ons. The red prints designer paper is from the level 1 hostess prints pack. and I just love the new stitched Ribbon. I saw a card layout very similar to this on splitcoast. I changed it up to accommodate what I had. A Simple Valentine! I'll have to look up and share the inspiration card later...I'm off and running today-- and we are expecting a little snow and ice today!

Party Balloons

My good friend Karen came over to stamp last week- and look at this adorable balloons stamp she brought with her! Now this was fun. So bright and cheerful! The image is colored with markers and I believe the stamp is from Stampendous. all other supplies are Stampin' Up!

Celebrate your friends

I finally broke out my Bind-it-all this weekend. What a fun & fabulous little toy. I made this address book to celebrate my friends. I keep addresses in this book of all the friends and Family I like to send cards too. Can you believe its made out of index cards? The cover is chipboard. I used the cardboard inserts that come in the Stampin Up designer paper packs. They were trimmed down to be slightly larger than the cards. I covered them with Berry Bliss designer paper and a glue stick. I can not take credit for the idea of the book. that came from Beate. Take a look at hers HERE.

Bitty Birthday Weekend Sketch

This is for Beate's weekend sketch challenge. I just love this little set! It's reasonably priced and packs a lot of WOW. It coordinates with a variety of Stampin' Up! Punches. What do you think of the matching gift bag? Can you see the glitter?

Ribbon Share

I will be hosting a Ribbon Share in February. This is a great way to try several of the styles of the Stampin’ Up ribbon choices without having to purchase a full roll.
